Natural Movement From The Ground Up

MovNat aims at developing Natural Movement effectiveness, efficiency, and adaptability – ideally in that order. We accomplish this through progressive, level-appropriate skill and fitness development over time.
During this indoor workshop we will work from the ground up as we explore mindful, natural movement and breath integration. Our session will start on the ground and we will work on transitions to/from and through laying, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, leaping and landing.
This is not competitive exercise, MovNat is available to everyone regardless of age, fitness level or flexibility. Start where you are and progress through these introductory movements and scale up to more challenging variations of the movement at your own pace when you are ready. This foundational class will focus on improving your body awareness, balance and control.
What to bring:
- Bottle of water

- Maybe a towel
What to wear:
- Shorts or athletic pants that allow you to move through your full range of motion
- Bare feet, socks or clean minimal sole indoor shoes
Movnat requires no special equipment and one of the goals of this workshop is to present attendees with movements that can easily be practiced at home, the park, a friend’s house, or maybe even at your office.
