Adult classes (open to ages 16 and older) focus on a combination of striking, throwing, joint manipulation and weapons practice.

Classes generally begin with a bow-in procedure followed by warm-up and mobility drills. Depending on the length of class we will review and drill several techniques or principles before our cool-down and bow-out procedure begins.
With minor exception the movements taught in adult class is done as a paired partner practice with varying degrees of resistance based on the experience and abilities of each individual. It is common to practice without safety equipment in the beginning and add equipment as necessary with safety being a primary focus.
