Our Samurai & Shinobi Summer Camp keeps kids moving, learning, and laughing with three hours of martial arts, obstacle courses, and weapons training. Five days a week in our Poulsbo dojo.
Whether it’s your child’s first time in the dojo or they’ve been training for years, they’ll leave each afternoon tired, happy, and ready to come back.
No martial arts experience needed.
Beginners are welcome and will fit right in.

what to expect
📵 Screen-Free, High-Energy Afternoons
No devices. No zoning out. Kids stay on their feet from start to finish with drills, games, and activities that build strength, confidence, and friendships.
🤸♀️ Tumbling & Breakfalls
Campers practice safe rolls, falls, and ground movement that improve agility and teach them to move with confidence and control.
🧠 Awareness & Self-Defense Mindset
In addition to physical techniques, we teach kids how to stay aware of their surroundings, maintain personal space, and understand how to stay calm and make smart choices in stressful situations.
🤝 Games, Fun & Friendship
Kids make friends fast here. Team games, obstacle courses, and a healthy dose of silliness are part of every afternoon.
🥋 Real Martial Arts Training (No Experience Needed)
We cover foundational skills in awareness, balance, coordination, and self-defense. Kids learn to move with purpose and control through safe, practical drills and partner exercises.
⚔️ Ninja & Samurai Weapon Skills
From swords (kenjutsu) to long staffs (bojutsu), kids get hands-on experience with traditional weapons, taught with modern safety standards and close supervision.
🎯 Encouraging, Safety-First Environment
Every child is challenged at their own level and encouraged to do their best. We don’t yell or pressure. We coach, guide, and celebrate progress.
Camp Pricing
Camp is $250/week for non-members and $180/week for members.
A $50 registration fee is due today. The remaining balance is due the Wednesday before your camp week begins. Your deposit is subtracted from your weekly balance after any discounts are applied.
Only 20 spots available per week.

30% off for the third child
40% off for the fourth child
50% off for the fifth child and beyond
Multi-Camp Discounts:
10% off for enrolling in 3–4 camps

Looking for More than summer camp?
Many of our campers go on to train with us year-round. If your child wants to keep going after summer, our Kids Budo program runs weekly classes for ages 5-9 or 10-14 right here in Poulsbo.
