Kitsap Martial Arts is partnering with Whole Life Challenge in 2019.
One of the primary visions I have had for Kitsap Martial Arts is to create a holistic improvement program for our community. I want to equip training partners with the resources, encouragement and inspiration not just to train hard in class but to make positive lifestyle changes outside of our time together in the dojo. I’ve done a bit of work on this in class by sharing book recommendations, breathing and mindfulness practice, conditioning routines and awareness games. That’s why I’m excited to announce that we’ll be working with Whole Life Challenge for the 2019 New Year challenge.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
I know what you’re thinking. “THIS IS GREAT! HOW DO I SIGN UP!?” Well, you have a few options, my friend so keep reading.
KMA Members
If you’re a member of one of the adult programs at Kitsap Martial Arts you will be enrolled in the New Year challenge from January 19- March 1 as part of your membership. I will provide your activation links by email before January 19.
Non-KMA Members
If you’re not currently enrolled in adult classes at Kitsap Martial Arts, no worries, you can still join our team and particpate along side us. Here are the options I’ve created for you:

As a virtual team member, you will register directly at Whole Life Challenge and can follow along with us during the six week journey. The only difference between this level and the WLC teammate level is that you will not have access to our in-person events.
Cool but what’s really in it for me?
This challenge is all about creating a community working together to make small changes to daily habits and choices in pursuit of better health and well-being. This is about establishing an accountability team that can celebrate progress and help provide inspiration and motivation to move past set-backs or hurdles along the way.
Most importantly, this is about taking small focused steps to establish or solidify consistent positive lifestyle choices.
